Have you ever wondered what exactly goes on behind the scenes during a newborn session? Everyone knows the baby gets their picture taken. What takes place between all those camera clicks? In this sneak behind-the-scenes peek newborn photography in action, Aberdeen photographer Sharon Nicholson highlights some of the session’s activity.
When you come to see me for your newborn photography session don’t be surprised if I hand you my mobile and ask you to take some photo’s of me working with your baby (providing you have consented to share your images of course). I love these candid behind the scene photo’s and I think it really shows what actually happens during a newborn photography session. Not only do these put a face to the name for you, they show me at work, how I handle your baby, how they will be wrapped and my studio space. I also like to take a few videos to showcase your beautiful baby on my instagram and facebook pages, don’t worry I have not been brave enough to “go live” during a session yet!
