I love a cake smash session! They’re always happy, fun celebrations with lot’s of giggles and silly noises.
When Isabella’s mummy contacted me to book in for her daughter’s smash I was excited to plan the session with her. I gave her a few ideas and together we choose a unicorn theme.
Part of the fun for me is planning the session, deciding what props I need to tie in with the chosen theme & looking for adorable outfits to match! I want your session to be timeless and elegant which is why i tend to opt for a balloon garland and matching accessories.
I really loved everything about this set up.
Before we introduce the cake I always do pre-cake portraits before things get too messy! I have several outfits to choose from and there is no limit on the amount you can use during the session. Everyone loves a balloon so we have a bit of fun with some balloons. Then there is cake….
…to eat, smash and generally have fun with. Isabella was very elegant when it came to smashing her cake. It was a great pleasure to have you in the studio & your smile certainly lite up my day. I hope you look back on these portraits with great joy.
